The Hard-wired camera does not have the power cord plugged into the power outlet, but plugs directly into the power source. The installation of hard-wired smart cameras must be done by licensed electricians and we do not have this in our service.

A battery-powered smart camera can be placed almost anywhere with a good WiFi connection. If you want to install the camera outside, make sure that your camera is specifically designed for outdoor use. Use the power cord away from the power outlet to install the smart camera. If the camera is outside your home and there is no external power outlet, please find the nearest power outlet near the installation site. We may be able to drill a large enough hole in the outer wall to use the inner casing. We recommend that you close any cracks in the wall after maintenance.
